They don’t cabsav, son. They’re just weird cunts who frantically obsess over another country thousands of miles away.
I can’t wait for the threads on political or social developments in South Africa or Pakistan.

Banned with the same caveats.
Master that is not entirely accurate re Ireland. In Ireland abortions are permitted up to 12 weeks. Thereafter abortions are permitted where the pregnancy poses a serious health risk or there is a serious fetal abnormality. This is relatively new as it was enacted late in 2018.
The proposed 'heartbeat bills' of some US 'red' states would only allow terminations up to 6weeks. In other red states there are other restrictions.

Sir Alf,
If that's your conclusion regarding America which has much, much more liberal abortion laws than any European country, how much further along the line of the Handmaid's Tale are Germany, France, Sweden and the Netherlands?

'but evangelical right will see "one piece at a time" as the way'
I'm pretty sure the fanatical left will see the same opportunities. That means individual states will be reflecting the opinions of their populations. It's almost like it's democracy or something. Curse that fascist Trump!

Seems that series "Handmaidens Tale" was a premonition not simply fictional entertainment?
Gilead is becoming reality. Unfortunately a weakness in their "checks and balances" allows a President to appoint 3 supreme court judges in one term. Usually they struggle to get one appointed. This leads to decisions/laws being prescribed outside of the democratic process.
Canada might start to see an uptick in immigration if this abortion dictate is not repealed. Yes, I realise it really is moving the decision / law / control down to state level but evangelical right will see "one piece at a time" as the way to get back to the good old days of the dark ages ;-)

Most abortions are done via a pill nowadays. So it will just join the list of other illicit drugs in those states where its banned and be hard to control. Take an E for a good time, take an A to get rid of an unwanted pregnancy.

Incidentally, if you did mean 'freely' in the way you just described, then your post was entirely fucking pointless.
Silly person.

'Whether or not it is illegal I am still free to commit the act. I doubt if I would be free from then on should I be caught and tried for it, but the act was still freely committed.'
By that definition, you are free to do absolutely anything you want, wherever, whenever and to whomever. Don't be a tool, that's the sort of shit comma and 360 come out with on a bad day.
As for the 'Humpty-Dumpty' thing, Humpty was being satirised as an idiot - but if the cap fits...

RESTRICTIONS ON ABORTION In Oregon, the following restrictions on abortion were in effect as of June 24, 2022:
Oregon does not have any of the major types of abortion restrictions—such as waiting periods, mandated parental involvement or limitations on publicly funded abortions—often found in other states.

You are wrong.
About the term limit in Oregon, maybe you’re right about the rest but who really cares about that.
There are no legal restrictions on abortion in Oregon at all. The exception for later abortions if the mother is at risk are in states where their are time limits.
Happy to provide you with any number of sources, but you could easily google it and find them yourself.

That's very "Pickled", even by your standards.
Whether or not it is illegal I am still free to commit the act. I doubt if I would be free from then on should I be caught and tried for it, but the act was still freely committed.

You never stop being an I’ll-informed fuckwit do you hermit. Big mouth without the knowledge to back anything up.
Oregon abortions after 24 weeks are only allowed if the life of the mother is at risk or there is a major problem with the baby.
People like you are the heart of this problem - full of opinions but low on knowledge - but you get easily wound up by bullshit.

SCOTUS…
Is not The People at all…
It’s politically appointed clever lawyers that rule for their sponsors and the party that proposed them…
Basically bought and paid for by the politicians in power when they were put on the court…
Right now 6..3 to Republicans due to dirty tricks by Republican politicians
